Getting into these institutes halua hai kya?
I am confirm of this that getting into a decent B-School in a country like India where 100000 candidates fights for 33 seats (AIIMS) is one of the toughest task in world.
Institutes also wants the so called top class students who have 90+ percentages in all his/her marksheets.
Below 90....ohhhh man you are not good in acads.
Somehow if by doing kamar todu hard work a student manages to score that so called good percentages(90+) in his/her school/college life, then comes entrance exams....
Bahut circus hai bhaiya yahan...kab tak, kahan tak, kis kis ki expectations, requirements poori karoge?
In entrance exams also all decent colleges want 97 percentile, 98 percentile, 99 percentile, is se neeche to bardasht(acceptable) hi nahi.
If you got 92, 93, 94 percentile then you did a crime. You are not eligible to be happy.
Why these people can't understand that a manager,a engineer, a doctor does not means that you have to score stupendous scores in all your exams.
A manager is known by his/her ability to manage things and turn things in his/her company's favour and not by scoring many 90s in exams.
A engineer is known by his/her ability to create new things, correct things and not by just scoring 90s in exams.
A friend from Netherlands told me why giving entrance exams and all? If you have interest then just take admission. I was unable to stop my laugh that time. I said dude this is INDIA where you have to fight like a warrior from lakhs of aspirants to
get one seat and not netherlands.
My friend rightly told me that if you are in INDIA and if you want to get seat then either you have extraordinary brain or you have loads of cash which you can throw on the face of institutes like SYMBIOSIS to get seat.
But if you are an average student with middle class family then be ready to become
the lion of THE GREAT INDIAN EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM CIRCUS.
Institutes don't give seats to deserving candidates but only to candidates who have money(which many don't have) or who have greeeaaaaaatttt acads so we kill the original person original interest inside us and just start prepare ourselves for scoring great marks (coz donation is not our cup of tea).
So from here starts the killing of human being and transforming that human into ROBOTS who is very good in acads.
I am very much interested in forest and wild life and wanted to do some work in that field (though in india there is not much scope and money in it but still I wanted to do that for my satisfaction and not for money but....) but I had to kill that Robin inside me and started preparing for INDIAN MBA CIRCUS.
I know that like me many more Robin are killing the original human inside them and will keep killing in future also to survive in India and Indian educational system.

if u r talking abt donations lemme tell u something more important is the college form fees almost every form costs not less thn 1000 bucks...tht means pg courses are reserved for elite class and not for less mortals like me:(

I got a score of 94.25 in SNAP and landed a single call from only SIMC. My celebrations did not last long, (as I patted myself on the back for having decently well???) For i believed in the estimated cut offs given by these loser Coaching institutes like TIME, CL, IMS etc...and on the other hand my friend scored a bare min of just 54.25 there aint much difference between us...both of us are seeing stars (in broad daylight anyways!)
